A small turtle with the tiniest shell, presented itself at the edge of my grass and my bike tire. I yanked my bike back so I wouldn’t crush him. As if a ray of sun shone on him, it make his small body radiate with so much light. So, I sat with him for a few moments and felt a wave of aloha flowed.
Words cannot describe such a deep connection.
With careful attention I placed a small leaf over his body in an attempt to protect him from cats About five minutes later I heard my cat meow. He had found something and pointed it out to me. His black coat glistened in the sun, his green eyes urged me closer. There on the side of my house in the grass about twenty or thirty feet away from where the turtle had been, sat the same turtle.
Did my hunter cat catch and drag this little turtle over to me? I didn’t see any teeth marks, or stress on the shell, only a peaceful moment, and a proud cat, who showed me what he had found.
In one swift movement, I picked up my cat to set him into the house shut the door and returned outside. I placed the little turtle in a small puddle of mud around the young papaya plant. He swished around for a few moments disappeared into the mud. I thought I heard him say, “Thanks for the lift. What a bizarre fear that your cat would catch me. All animals teleport, only humans dream about it.”
The next morning, I checked that muddy spot under the papaya plant. The turtle had vanished.
What happened? In the realm of all possibilities, I wonder about teleportation.
Could the tiniest turtle have teleported from one side of my yard to another? Why not? We do live in a connected universe. Have you heard of resonance science? Check it out here. Unified Science
The art of story. Taken from snippets of real life zany stories charm the evolution of change.
Those who feel a deep connection with the earth, and all who dwell on her, can feel overwhelmed by the worlds’ woes. Yet, the power of story puts ideas into our imagination that carry solutions. Each solution can end the loss animal species, reverse climate change, and perhaps change our footprint to green.
I wonder what could happen if we told different stories about the world’s woes? What would happen if we began to feel gratitude for every creature, plant, tree, rock, water, and one another? And I wonder what would our world look like then?
Imagine the possibilities. Our imagination stimulates the evolution of change. Even if that change means believing in teleportation. It takes time for the evolution of consciousness to be reflected in the world around you. As things in our global society appear very scary right now, I look to nature and emulate her to keep going, to feel inspired, and safe. Nature inspires, when we appreciate and value her.
Pay greater attention to how you feel moment to moment. That’s where the juice is. That’s where the greatest shifts in our external world happen, sometimes overnight. Choose the thoughts which feel good, for the greater good.
