Humble Human, how can the evolution of consciousness be reflected off of you and into the world? With a state of gratitude.

A young robin fell from her nest in the Spring. I know because her mother and father squelched for her all morning. I went to investigate. There crouched between the rock wall, and the palm tree sat a fledgling robin. Her wings hadn’t fully grown yet. I found an old bird house, because I didn’t want any of my three cats to hunt this little one. With a garden glove and the watchful eyes of her mother, I picked her up, and placed into the bird house. Then shoved the bird house into a lower tree.

Once again, the screech from the mother alerted me. Wouldn’t you know, my cat sniffed around the base of the tree. So I grabbed my cat and  pulled her back into my house. The next day. No bird. Where did she go? My heart raced. I’d kept all three of my cats indoors all day. I sighed and guessed she’d died. I walked past the tree. but turned when I heard a cacophony of screeches behind me. My cat had pinpointed something, and lay in a crouched position.

I looked over. The tiny bird had flown across the driveway, and landed under a patch of dragon fruit we’re growing. I pulled all my cats in again for a third day. I waited.

Next day I searched, and searched, but no little bird. I looked up, and heard not one, not two, but three robins sitting in the palm branches high above me.

With all the worlds’ woes, understand and remember,  it takes time for the evolution of consciousness to be reflected in the world around you. Pay greater attention to how you feel moment to moment. That’s where the juice is.  That’s where the greatest shifts in our external world happen, sometimes overnight. Choose the thoughts which feel good, for the greater good.

Use those powerful tools of forgiveness, and gratitude for yourself and all those around you.

Why bother? Because we want to be the change we see in the world. We can’t do that without forgiveness. Gratitude grows when forgiveness flows.

Forgiveness doesn’t let big oil companies off the hook. Oh no. Instead forgiveness helps you find a new way to live without dependency on oil. Forgiveness frees your mind, and heart to create better solutions for our world.

Look to nature, and emulate her to keep going, to feel inspired, and safe.

In the meantime I invite you to find companies, organizations, and people who align with your dreams and visions for the future.
